Skoda Fabia FRONT STRUT MOUNT BEARING+SPRING
In this video I show you how I replaced a failed front top strut bearing and sring by removing the McFerson suspension strut assembly on a Skoda Fabia MK1 (99-07) which is similar to other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda models.

Use new component bolts and associated nuts upon re-assembly

Tightening torques:

Strut to mount Use new locking nut! M14x1.5 60Nm
Suspension strut to suspension strut dome body Use new nut! M8x26mm OEM N10127707
15 Nm + 90°
Wheel-bearing housing to suspension strut Use new bolt and nut! Oval head spline bolt VAG N90954802 or N90954801 M12x1.5x80 with associated nut
N101 064 02 M12x1.5
60 Nm + 90°
Track rod end/track rod to steering arm Use new nuts! M12x1.5mm OEM N90321302
20 Nm + 90°
The anti-roll bar on the suspension strut 40 Nm M10 lower N10261302 upper shouldered N90908101
Springs match colour code fit in pairs
Wheel bolts 120 Nm
