A dog had a lucky escape after plunging 70ft off a cliff.

Milo the labrador thankfully landed on a ledge after falling over the edge of a cliff in Dorset on Friday and coastguard teams were able to rescue him using rope equipment.

The black labrador had been out for a walk with his owners when he veered off the edge and coastguard teams from Swanage, St Albans and Kimmeridge were called to the scene on the Downs.
