This video contains slowed down play along backing tracks to help you pass your Rockschool grade. Each track is slowed down to 60%, (Debut, G1 & G2 only) 70%, 80%, 90% to enable you to play each song slowly before progressing to full tempo. Each track should be used repeatedly until you are able to move on to the faster version, don't move on until you are able to play the selected song cleanly, comfortably and without errors. The slowed down backing tracks can also be used to play through tricky phrases or sections.
Many years of teaching across various instruments has taught me that playing slowly is the best way to learn any new piece of music or song and this represents a logical system to enable the student to do this. This approach has proved to be very successful in my private teaching and my students have greatly benefited from this. I believe that you will benefit from this as well.
These videos represent a great deal of work to prepare and upload so please like and subscribe!
