Power Plants for offshore oil & gas installations utilizing dual fuel reciprocating engines are by many owners seen as an interesting alternative to conventional solutions due to the apparent advantages in fuel flexibility, fuel efficiency and lower emission.

The presentation will summarize the dual fuel technology, typical solutions for FPSO's and operational experience in addition to the result of a case study where different power plant solutions has been compared.
