The Oct. 13 hearing comes three weeks before Election Day. The second of four days of scheduled testimony gave senators an opportunity to ask Barrett about her record and approach to the law. Durbin's questions ranged from George Floyd's death to gun rights to voting rights. Barrett said, to the idea "that I have some sort of agenda on felon voting rights or guns or campaign finance or anything else -- I can assure you, and the whole committee that I do not."
