Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kargil on Monday morning to celebrate Diwali. He celebrated Diwali with the soldiers posted on the border in Kargil. The Prime Minister was seen distributing sweets and singing ‘Vande Mataram’ with soldiers. He was also seen interacting with members of the armed forces. It has been a ritual for Modi to celebrate the festival of lights with soldiers ever since coming to power in 2014.
