The Seoul Metropolitan Fire and Disaster headquarters is bringing in 28 negative pressure ambulances to transport patients infected with the coronavirus.
As of last Friday, the city’s 119 emergency rescue teams have picked up 1,400 people showing symptoms of COVID-19, and 7 of them were confirmed to be infected.
Seoul is asking people to call 1339 first if you have symptoms to prevent the negative pressure ambulances being deployed to those without the virus.
