Milap's iconic Indian classical music concert series 'Music for the Mind & Soul' is now online with exclusive studio recordings made especially for you! Our concert are designed to help you unwind, escape and lift up your spirits! Here we present music from the brilliant Debsagar Malik (Santoor) and Debashish Singha Roy (Tabla) performing from 'On Air Theater' studios in Kolkata performing morning Raaga 'Raag Nat Bhairav'.

Debsagar Malik is a young Santoor player of Maihar Gharana and is one of the rising talents on the Indian Classical music scene. Coming from an artistic family, Debsagar started his musical journey with Shri Tapan Mazumder as his teacher at the age of seven. After learning the basics of the santoor from him, Debsagar at the age of ten was fortunate to then have the international renowned maestro, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya as his Guru to continue learning from. His talim from the senior maestro continues till date as he looks to share the love and music of his Santoor to all.

In this performance he is accompanied on the tabla by Debashish Singha Roy. Debashish Singha Roy (son of Late Binoy Singha Roy) started his musical journey with the guidance of his father at the age of five. Debashish was influenced by the sound of Tabla from his childhood and since 2007 he has been taking his talim from Pt. Abhijit Banerjee, the famous percussionist of Farrukhabad Gharana and also a senior disciple of Guru Pt. Jnan Prakash Ghosh.
