A strong, surfboard bike rack that will work with the vast majority of surfboards and SUP's, on the vast majority of bikes. Created by the author of How To Build Your First Surfboard at surfersteve.com, and the videos at the old youtube channel - surferstevedotcom
Materials for bike rack (recommended version):
2 - 2&1/2" stainless steel adjustable hose clamps
2 - 3/4" rigid plumbing T
2 - 3/4" EMT connector (steel)
1 - 10'x3/4" EMT conduit
5' - pipe foam insulation
9' - 14 gauge romex
Although the recommended version features hose clamps, this is because most people will not drill holes in their bike. The drilled method is actually the easiest, and the most trouble free of all the methods. Note: After years, having wind gusts, and curious people knock the bike over, the kick stand is now rarely used - the bike is leaned against a wall, or fence etc.
