Home blood tests are quick and simple to do. The blood test procedure is simple enough that you can easily perform a self blood test. This video includes a demonstration and tips on how to use a Babylon blood testing kit. When you get your kit in the mail, you can follow along with this video to make sure you do everything correctly.
Wash your hands with warm water to encourage blood flow and an alcohol swab to clean your chosen finger. Use one of the provided lancets to prick the side of your finger and let the blood drip into the test tube. If the blood flow stops before the tube is filled, bandage the finger and move on to another to get the rest of the blood. When you've capped and labelled your test tube, tuck it in the return envelope to be sent to a third party lab for analysis.
