Transient vision loss, double vision, asymmetric pupils, yellow eyes (jaundice)--these are just SOME of the signs the eyes give us that something serious is going on inside our bodies. The eyes give us warning signs of impending stroke or heart attack, the presence of tumors, and even a rare genetic condition called Wilson's disease, just to name a few.
Eye health indicates overall health, and these signs should not be ignored. Vision changes, especially sudden ones are not a good sign. The sooner vision changes are evaluated, the more likely it is to notice something serious brewing before it occurs and try to prevent it. Take care of your eye health and don't ignore sudden vision changes.
The eyes might be the windows to the soul, but they are DEFINITELY the windows to the body.
