The Tape Stop effect is a popular effect you'll hear in almost all styles of music.
While Studio One does provide built-in tools to perform a Tape Stop effect, none of them are as easy as using the VARI-FI AudioSuite plugin in Pro Tools.

But, by using Waves Abbey Road Vinyl we can create a tape stop or slow down effect very easily.
We are using Studio One 4.5.

In the video we'll do a tape stop two different ways.
First, well use Event FX.
Event FX are clip based. You can put a plugin on a single clip and only effect that clip. You can then render that effect to the clip. It's sort of like a combination of Commit and AudioSuite in Pro Tools.
Then, we'll do the same effect using Automation.
Waves Abbey Road Vinyl is NOT FREE!
