From fishing to hiking, camping and so much more - Nova Scotia Provincial Parks have lots of opportunity for adventure.
At Dollar Lake Provincial Park, near Halifax, there are lots of activities for the whole family, including camping, boating, canoeing, water-skiing, and fishing. Located north of Musquodoboit Harbour, the lake boasts a large sandy beach and fresh water swimming.
Cape Chignecto Provincial Park offers a breathtaking opportunity to see cliffs rise from the Bay of Fundy, while the world's highest tides lap at their base. This wilderness park features 29 km of pristine coastline (and more than 60 km of wilderness trails), deep valleys, sheltered coves, rare plants, and remnant old-growth forests, with excellent opportunities for back-country camping and sea kayaking.
On the South Shore, Thomas Raddall Provincial Park overlooks Port Joli Harbour. With more than 1,600 acres the park offers a wide range of outdoor experiences including hiking, exploring interpretive panels, camping, picnicking, and relaxing at the beach.
