From the 2014 National Black Writers Conference, a panel discussion entitled, "Race, Power, and Politics." The panelists include William Jelani Cobb, author and director of the Institute for African American Studies at the University of Connecticut; author and political analyst Marc Lamont Hill; Michele Wallace, author and English professor at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York; and Obery Hendricks, author and visiting scholar in the Department of Religion and the Institute for Research in African-American Studies at Columbia University. The panel is moderated by novelist Wallace Ford, and is hosted by Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.
