The Primrose Walk is a traditional walk on Good Fridays, where the parishioners of Wolvercote and Wytham are allowed to collect primroses for the local church. This is the only day that people are allowed to pick flowers in Wytham Woods. As far as we know, this tradition dates back to when the ffennell family owned the Wytham Estate. If you have further information, please let us know.
Sadly this year the Primrose Walk cannot take place, so we have recorded this virtual tour.
We wish you all a Happy Easter at home.
