The rules of this trend are simple: add ranch dressing or seasoning to any recipe, creating an addictive dish. This flavor combination is dangerous, so be warned! Ingredients:
• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 package of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning
• 1 ½ ounces bacon bits
• 1-2 tablespoons Bear & Burton’s W Sauce
• ¼ cup mayonnaise
• Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub
• Bacon-Up Bacon Grease
• 1-2 onions, sliced
• Texas Toast
• 1 Batch All-American Burger Sauce
• Sharp white Cheddar cheese, sliced
Burger Sauce:
- Chopped pickles
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1oz W Sauce
- Heath Riles BBQ Everyday Rub
Directions:
1. Fire up the Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill to a medium temperature.
2. Place the ground beef in a large bowl and add the ranch seasoning, bacon bits, Bear & Burton’s W Sauce, mayonnaise, and Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub. Mix the ingredients until they are homogenous.
3. Divide the beef mixture into six pieces and form them into balls. Place the patties on a prepared baking tray and let them chill in the fridge until firm.
4. Add a dollop of Bacon-Up Bacon Grease to the Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill to season it. Set down the onions and add a dash of Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub, stirring the veggies until caramelized. While the onions caramelized, brown the Texas Toast, cooking until toasted on both sides.
5. Set the patties on the pit, season them with Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub, and smash them down using a spatula. Let the burgers cook until brown and crisp on both sides.
6. To assemble the Crack Smash Burgers, place a scoop of caramelized onion on the patty. Lay a slice of cheese over the top and squirt water on the Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grill to help the cheese melt. Take the patties off the grill and lay them on a slice of thick, toasted Texas toast. Add a spoonful of All-American Burger Sauce and top it with another slice of bread. Enjoy!
