Is Corp of Engineers Campgrounds a good fit for Full Time RV'ers? We stayed at Hood Park campground that is a Army Corp of Engineers Campground. The question is should you camp in an Army Corp of Engineers Campground? Only if you like clean quite campgrounds. We love this location and the campground. There is a lot of space between sites and the power was consistent.
Negatives about this Army Corp of Engineers Campground is there was no water or sewer hook ups. But, there was potable water at entrance to fill your tanks and a dump station. For full time rv'ers rules are no Alcohol in park.
Hood Park is right on the Snake River where it runs into the Columbia River. Water temperatures are perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or boating.
