My friend Jerry is trying out my kayak travel setup today. I now have a kayak that does not require a paddle because it is powered by a 30lb thrust trolling motor. It has a steering system and speed controller. It has 5 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds. So far I've taken it 7miles out for over 7hrs. so it does about a mile per hour. I've been boating before and this kayak is a more cost effective way of enjoying the water. Kayaks have many benefits. You can get into tight places and shallow waters that even small boats can't.
