This is carbon removal from engine pistons, with no fuel additive, just wide open throttle driving or italian tuning. This Italian tune up before and after (with borescope), without fuel additives does prove how to remove carbon with no additives. I believe fuel additives only speed up this process especially in the presence of heavy carbon buildup on pistons. This is a sequel to my findings using Liqui Moly valve clean for a month [ Ссылка ]. If you are one of those who believe fuel additives are snake oil, well, here's a genuine approach on how to remove carbon with no fuel additive. Piston carbon removal or carbon removal from piston(s) is a necessary tune up item that keeps engine performance, improves lost mpg etc. Best of all it will clean pistons without removing or elbow grease!
