How do I prepare for my lipedema liposuction? Lipedema reduction surgery is performed at our office using awake surgery tumescent anesthesia. Optimizing the types of medications you take before surgery is a key component of making sure you're relaxed and comfortable during your surgery.

In this video, the nurses go through how to take your medications, but don't worry...they'll also call you before surgery to go over pre op instructions for lipedema surgery on the phone. On the morning of surgery, we'll check everything over and do the markings for lipedema liposuction so everyone is on the same page about the surgical plan.
