Review of Sun Joe CJ602E 15-Amp Electric Wood Chipper
This is a review of the Sun Joe chipper and shredder model CJ602E. It's a 15 Amp, electric shredder and chipper that makes a spreadable mulch. I use this SunJoe to chip and shred small branches, twigs, and hearty weeds in order to return nutrients to the soil. The tool reduces yard waste from 17:1 and SunJoe by SnowJoe claims it can handle branches up to 1.57 inches... I found it to be more like 1.25" though. While the prep work and process of breaking down limbs is time consuming (and mind numbing), this is a great tool for light duty work. While perhaps more of a twig cruncher than a real chipper, the tool does a great job turning yard waste into usable mulch. In this video I chip and shred Rugosa Rose (aka, Beach Roses), Bittersweet Vines, Sumac, Lilac, Hydrangea, and Magnolia limbs. I purchased this on Amazon and had it shipped to Maine while we were on vacation.
