Caught a few trains going to and from a quick visit to Indiana on the weekend of September 16th 2023. Most shots in Illinois but did manage a couple in Indiana. Happened to stumble across the Railroad Days Festival at the Monticello, IL Railroad Museum and caught a whole bunch of their goodies running! Enjoy!!

Michigan City, IN
1. South Shore and NICTD sitting out the day.
2. NICTD 1001 eastbound on the new double track passing the new station under construction at 11th st.

Ogden Dunes, IN
1. New NICTD station under construction.
2. Gary Railway switching the Midwest Steel Mill.
Sheldon, IL
1. TP&W EFEP westbound. Train was swicthing the small yard at Effner so this unfortunately was my only shot.
Rantoul, IL
1. CN northbound empty ore train.
2. CN northbound manifest with a decent consist.
Effingham, IL
1. Amtrak 393 southbound.
2. CN northbound local throttling up!
