How to fix P0444 Code: Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open
A P0444 error code is set when the computer (ECM/PCM) detects the EVAP (Evaporative control) purge valve circuit is having an issue.
The EVAP system sends fuel vapors from the gas tank to the engine to be brunt away so they don't escape into the atmosphere.
Possible Causes of a P0444 Code:
Bad Purge Valve
Purge Valve Wiring Issue
Bad Pressure Sensor (Will usually give other code)
