Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday said that at least 33 terrorists have been killed in different areas, who were responsible for using sophisticated arms against the civilian population during violent clashes in the state. Apart from those killed, several others have been arrested.
N Biren Singh's statement comes after the Manipur government further extended the ban on internet services in the state till May 31. Widespread violence broke out following clashes between tribals and non-tribals on May 3.
