The drive from Dubai to Fujairah is much better than before thanks to the new road slicing through the Hajjar Mountains. The 120 Km drive is extremely safe and smooth as no heavy vehicles are allowed on this stretch. Taking the intercity bus is the cheapest option available but requires two transfers as well.
