Our sixth Twilio Tip about Twilio development covers a very common need in Twilio development. How do I test my locally running server code since Twilio needs to make a web request to it? We need a way to make our code publicly accessible so we can give Twilio a webhook address that runs our code. For that we’ll use ngrok ([ Ссылка ]) which creates a secure tunnel from your local code to the public internet. It’s easy to install, quick to get running, and allows you to test your Twilio code without deploying it. In a future tip, we’ll cover some of ngrok’s more advanced features but for now we’ll just show how it works.
There’s a fantastic blog post over on the Twilio blog that covers ngrok in great detail: [ Ссылка ]
