It’s not to say K2 is the only brand currently gunning to be America’s top freeride ski company. Believe us, they aren’t. However, their push over the last few years may be the most apparent of any brand.

First, they rolled out a dozen Mindbender skis. Then they garnished the collection with the freestyle-driven Reckoners. Then they added Dispatch, the free-touring skis made for experts. And all along, their boots just kept getting better.

Now for 2023-2024, K2 latches onto the hottest topic in ski gear trends: BOA boots. Of the four companies rolling out BOA models in their new collections, K2 is going the deepest, with BOA models in Recon, Mindbender, Anthem, and Dispatch.

Oh, and of course—they also freshen up all the Mindbenders for 2023-2024 with new art and add new models: the Mindbender 96 C and 106 C. Plus, they’re another brand making significant strides in sustainability. That push includes aiming for 100% use of bio-resin in the next few years (they’re currently at 38%), 100% natural wax, and algae based sidewalls.

Lots to be excited for.
