After posting a video from Shimokitazawa the other day, someone asked me to shoot that area again, but at night. So I did precisely that.
Shimokitazawa is another one of those Tokyo neighbourhoods that people often fall deeply in love with. Those fortunate enough to live there, often have a certain sense of pride over their local community, and for good reasons! In this part of Tokyo, you will find many charming small locally run shops, bars and restaurants. It is an area particularly popular for vintage clothes shopping. At night, many people flock to the numerous venues for live music, hidden in the basements of several otherwise relatively bland buildings.
Shimokitazawa is located just a few minutes from Shibuya, on the Keio Inokashira Line.
