Sometimes a chord comes up in a chord progression that throws us off when we’re improvising.
In this video I’m going to talk about what scales go with what chords.
I’ll demonstrate how to find the right scales for chords with chord progressions that:
• stay in one key
• contain chords outside that key
• contain 7th chords
I think you'll find these tips really useful if you're someone who improvises and wants to be able to find reliable scales for chords or interesting scale options that you might not have known about.
