INTRO

So the Destiny Rise of Iron Forged in Fire Vidoc was a complete information overload! If I talked about everything in the video we would be here all day. So in this video lets talk about The Raid “Wraith of the Machine”. They showed us surprisingly a lot of gameplay from it.

They showed us the entrances to the Raid. Looks like a Giant Flaming Anus. They show Guardians Traversing through tightly spaced corridors then transitioned right into a jumping puzzle portion of the raid. After they finished the Jumping puzzle, they emerged at the top of Old Russia’s Walls and are greeted by swarms of enemies and a “Killer Zamboni”! Now the developers described this encounter as being one that you have to run from instead of standing and fighting like normal. So that may give us some clues on how to handle this engagement when we get out hands on it. Im thinking from what they said, it will be some type of fight where we need to damage the machine enough before being cued to run. They transition to the guardians sprinting down the wall before taking a leap off the wall plummeting back down to a SIVA infested bunker. It looked like it transitioned into the second puzzle portion of the raid. It all looks super exciting and to be honest I cant believe Bungie showed us this much considering how closed lipped they are normally.

They also showed us all the Wraith of the Machine Raid Gear and some weapons. After looking at them all in detail, I think the Warlock comes out looking the best.
The Raid Gear is a Gloss Red with a Trianglistic design to them. Very bright though so im not sure how tactical that will be. The Raid Armor Ornaments they showed were glowing a bright red light from the armor but hopefully there is more unique ones to apply.
