VW Caddy 2.0 SDI came into L.A Automotive this week running very poor and engine management light on. After carrying out diagnostics, we found a permanent misfire on cylinder number 1. On inspecting live data we discovered the correction quantities on the injectors to be all over the place(the nearer to zero the better)
We carried out BG's fuel/ air
Induction service and watched the correction factors start to equal out within minutes and the car began to idle much better. After completing the full cleaning procedure the injectors was reading almost perfect and well within tolerance,the car was now idling as it should, and the fault cleared.
