A name i'd heard on the wind for years, Cat Clyde had been on the radar. A lot of y'all asked about her. I usually just let the road do the plan making for us though, and it delivered, like it always tends to. One day it just happened she played a show at the Basement in Nashville, a storied venue if there ever was one. Luck also had it that we were in town, so we rolled out before their show to capture a song outside as they set up.
Cat is another artist from the great northern stretch that is Canada, a place a lot of great talent seems to be coming from. Her label-mate and often tour-buddy Jeremie Albino already made his debut on the channel earlier this year ([ Ссылка ]), and they've been known to play some songs together, like this one ([ Ссылка ]). Sound familiar? Yeah, Jackson recorded that song with us some years ago in New Orleans on the miniDV camera ([ Ссылка ]), right after Chris Acker did his on that late night street corner. Things sure do progress naturally, when you let them, don't they?
