In August 1965, John Densmore joined The Doors.
John developed his drumming skills while playing with his high school marching band. In the mid-1960s, he joined forces with Robby in a group called the Psychedelic Rangers. Not long after, they teamed up with Ray and Jim, marking the beginning of The Doors.
