A shortage of R62A cars caused two R142 sets from the (2) line to be moved to the (1) for the weekend. The R142s used are typically assigned the (2) and (5) and the only other line with R142s regularly assigned to it is the (4). It is unusual to see R142s operating on the (1), especially north of 96th Street.
