Welcome to my channel dedicated to film scoring and composer tips. Throughout my career as a film composer, I've encountered numerous scoring challenges including the task of writing music for intense action scenes that can vary from 5 to 12 minutes in duration. These sequences can be particularly challenging due to the dynamic on-screen events, abundant sound effects, and the inherent risk of the music becoming overly repetitive. In this video I’m going to share what I’ve learned about effectively approaching such scenes and how I ensure that the music not only enhances the adrenaline-packed storyline but also keeps the audience captivated throughout the film or series.
