2 hours north of Medellin Colombia lies the 2135m rock, El Penon de Guatape! This summer I got to climb almost 800 steps to watch the breathtaking view from the top! Guatape has more to offer then just a rock though. I got to explore the culture and the beauty of such a colourful city, go on boat tours across many lakes, visit churches, tourist attractions, and so much more!
