Smart meter adoption rates have soared in the past decade, which has been foundational for the digital transformation of utilities and future efforts to modernize the grid. There are currently more than 100 million smart meters deployed in the United States. However, in a recent ACEEE report, too many utilities are underutilizing the capabilities of AMI. Utilities have the opportunity to breakdown organization silos to improve operations, engage with customers, and better integrate technologies critical for the future grid. To discuss how utilities can get the most from their AMI systems and programs, Zpryme will be sitting down with Hydro Ottawa and Black and Veatch Management Consulting.
This webinar discusses:
- Steps Hydro Ottawa have taken to maximize the benefits of their AMI
- Challenges the utilities face
- What steps utilities should be taking to overcome those challenges
Thought Leaders:
- Robert Renshaw, Manager, Metering Systems, HydroOttawa
- Kevin Cornish, Senior Managing Director, Black & Veatch Management Consulting
- Erin Hardick (Moderator), Senior Researcher and Content Strategist, Zpryme
