So now I'm venturing through this game's Zone 3 levels, which are all based on the levels of Super Bomberman 3 where Bomberman has to travel through different planets in order to combat the resurrected Five Dastardly Bombers that were now commanded by their leader, Professor Bugular.
This is when the art style from Super 1 & 2 changes significantly. Outline cels are emphasizes in order to give the levels are more cartoony look and make the game resemble the Bomberman games on the Turbografx-16. This also means that the Bomberman sprites used in this game blend in better.
However, similarly to Super 2's levels that would get so big, the screen would actually have to scroll, Super 3 used to split big levels up by floors. You take out all of one floor's enemies, then you'd go to another floor until the end of that level. This lets these levels stay big without having to make them scroll.
Super 5 has unfortunately taken out this quirk with Super 3's levels, too, and now all levels are just completed on a single floor just like every other level in this game. At least the enemies and the gimmicks within the levels (such as mine carts and quicksand flows) are still kept.
----------
I only go through two levels in this video. One's based on the Firestorm planet where Bomberman would find Golem Bomber, while the other level is based on the Pyramid planet where the White Bomber would find Brain/Phantom Bomber.

Follow the map I provided below to keep track of the levels I've gone through so far. By the end of this video, I've beaten the red 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 11, and A1, then the yellow 1, 2, 7, 7, 8 and B1, then the blue 2 & 8, and I'm now about to go through the blue 9.
