Here’s a fascinating way to identify species of plants and animals and become a community scientists. iNaturalist allows you to upload pictures of species you cannot quite identify, whether in your own backyard or out on a hike. 1. Download iNaturalist app on smartphone
2. Open app and to upload your observations- Click the “observe” tab with the camera icon
3. Snap a photo of your species-hit Next
4. Click on “What do you see-view suggestions”
5. Pick the species that closely represents what you have found
6. Share your observation with the world
