Ensure your broadband is activated by midnight on the specified day on your hub packaging. Start by locating your master phone socket, usually at the front of your house with a BT Openreach or G.Fast logo. Unplug any existing connections. Identify the label color on the back of your hub: use the black cable for gray labels, connecting the white end to your socket and the purple end to your hub. For black labels, if your socket has two ports, use the black cable; for one port, use the gray cable. Connect your phone to the hub's phone socket, plug in the power cable, and turn on your hub.
