Wrexham Wellbeing Festival. 3rd July 2024.
Young people from 7 different primary and secondary schools across North Wales participated in our Wrexham Wellbeing Festival event at Wrexham University. They gave TEDx style talks on a variety of wellbeing-based topics, such as how screen time can impact mental health, the impact of stigma on wellbeing, and how climate change is affecting young people and their community.

“The Alun School Mental Health and Wellbeing Champions”
We have been working in our local primary schools to support their transition from Year 6 into high school. We think that when children come to high school it can be a big change. There will be lots of teachers and lots of homework.
We looked at some research and thought about our own feelings towards homework as well. We believe that everyone's wellbeing will be improved with no homework. In this topic, we think about students, teachers and families and parents.
