12. Daisy Shah
This talented diva who was working for choreographer Ganesh Acharya, as a dance assistant has assisted films as well. She has been assistant director for films namely, Khakee and Zameen, before she starred opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho.
11. Arjun Kapoor
The multi-talented Arjun Kapoor assisted not only one, but three films, before he acted in his debut film Ishqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra. He was an AD for the films such as Shakti, Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-E-Ishq.
10. Sonam Kapoor
The fashion icon who has represented India, assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali when he was shooting for his film Black. It was Bhansali who suggested her to try acting. Later in 2007, she made a debut in his film Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

The serial kisser of Bollywood, Emraan was an assistant director to Vikram Bhatt for his film Raaz in 2002. Later, he got a break in the movie Footpath in 2003.

Though he debuted in the year 2004, in the movie Meenaxi-A tale of 3 cities, he was an assistant director under Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for the film Aks starring Amitabh Bachchan.
2. Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan had a great opportunity to not only be his father’s son, but also to learn a lot about film making by assisting his actor-turned-director father Rakesh Roshan. He has assisted him in films like King Uncle, Karobar and many others. Only after this, he made his first debut in his father’s film Kaho na pyaar hai in the year 2000.
