At this year’s InnoTrans and just in time for the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway’s 100th anniversary, Stadler presented the new electric metre-gauge multiple unit for Ferrovie Autolinee Regionali Ticinesi SA (FART). The new vehicles, running on behalf of both the Swiss company FART and the Italian company Società Subalpina di Imprese Ferroviarie (SSIF), will be delivered in three- and four-car versions and are meant to link Switzerland and Northern Italy.

A unique, innovative solution tailored to the needs of each operator which boosts travel comfort throughout the whole route.
