August 2024:
This video covers two trips to western New England from last August, one to take a look at passenger action and the other to follow the freight action. New England is often overlooked as a substantial railroading region due to the relatively low traffic volume on its freight rail lines and the monotony of its passenger rail lines. However, with a bit of research on the region's operations, one can find some pretty awesome railroads in New England, from rare commuter locomotives to colorful shortlines. Especially in 2024 with the changing of the guard from Pan Am Railways to CSX & Berkshire and Eastern, lots of interesting and exciting things are happening in New England railroading. Enjoy this snippet of action from western New England, and I look forward to bringing more content from this area in the future!
