Mbappe’s walls were covered in Ronaldo posters and he watched his highlights every night before bed. But Mbappe has been accused of copying Ronaldo and it’s sparked a lot of debate. When Mbappe isn’t crossing his arms after scoring, he copies all of Ronaldo’s celebrations on the pitch. This was shown when Mbappe pointed at the ground and leaned on the corner flag when he scored. Ronaldo used to do the same celebrations but now he’s passed them off to Mbappe. Mbappe said he would try to replicate Ronaldo’s career because he wanted to play for multiple teams and win trophies. Mbappe could talk about Ronaldo’s career for hours because he’s studied it and read every article about him. Mbappe’s old teammate even said if someone talked bad about Ronaldo, Mbappe would get mad and fight them. Ronaldo then weighed in on Mbappe copying him and you won’t believe what he said, Ronaldo said Mbappe was the future of football.
