Residents living on the shores of Ethiopia's Lake Tana are appealing for government assistance to save them from the fast-spreading water hyacinth. In just seven years, the weed has invaded a-third of the body of water. Lake Tana is the source of the Blue Nile and a tributary of the Nile River. CGTN's Coletta Wanjohi visited the lake to find out more about the water hyacinth problem.
