In this video I remove the rear axle to replace the worn out bushes with polyflex replacements along with genuine rear brake pipes, rear pads and discs, handbrake cable and a new caliper which has tightened everything up at the back.
This is just and A t B everyday car. A 1.3 CDTI with 130,000 miles that shows no signs of giving up. This is all wear and tear stuff so not a big deal to refresh these parts.
A lot of time lapse parts in this as it would be awfully long and boring viewing but it was all done in a day.
Hopefully someone enjoys it and any questions just fire away, I am more than happy to help out if I can. If you would have done anything differently or have your own tips or tricks then spread the knowledge.
There is a bit of the video missing as my battery died and I hadn't realised. It was the part of removing the old bushes. I usually do this with the correct tool but I have loaned it to a mate so I had to resort to the old method of heat, hammer and chisel.
