Welcome to the Filipino movie breakdown where we break down all Filipino movies when I say all movies, I mean all genres so in this series I'll be breaking down some of the all-time best Filipino movies. So, in this series we will focus on the list I searched on the internet yes, I just search this. I'm a Filipino myself but don't regularly watch Filipino movies. I want to spread the news that there is really something special in our films that’s why I created this channel for people worldwide. Ok, I don’t own any movies or films in this series. I just watched it and gave my own analysis of the film and broke it down for all of you.
Ganito kami noon paano kayo ngayon is a 1976 Philippine period drama film set in the era of Spanish colonization in the Philippines. Set at the turn of the 20th century during the Filipino revolution against the Spaniards and, later, the American colonizers, it follows a naive peasant through his leap of faith to become a member of an imagined community.
