November 11, 2019 (Part 2):

Here’s the second half of the day! The ladies of Kakuma Refugee Camp greeted and welcomed us with incredible warmth and energy. They didn’t stop singing all day. You can hear them in the background through most of this video. They treated us with such honor and gratitude. Their care of us was humbling.

We got to meet the widows we work alongside and some of the orphans they care for. We also got to meet the seamstresses we helped buy sewing machines for.

We also got to present pastor Jacob Atem with all of the supplies we brought in: books, diplomas, projectors, speakers, etc. This was one of the main reasons we came on this trip, and it was awesome to finally get it to the people who need it!

It was a very long, very good day.
