Check out the 2016 Bark Vapor SUP as Carolina Paddleboard Co. in Wilmington, NC reviews one of the latest Stand Up Paddleboards from Surftech.

The 2016 Surftech Bark Vapor borrows a rounded nose from the Bark Commander prone paddle board and marries it to the well-known Bark racing hull to make a wicked fast racing SUP. The rounded nose and plenty of volume gets the board paddling fast in the flats, but it also looks promising for the surf zone and downwind runs.

For 2016 these "crossover" boards are looking like a great way to enhance your race quiver to handle all the conditions from flatwater to downwinding to open ocean all in one board. This will be especially helpful in distance races that have a combination of conditions.
